Oji Eagles win 2008 Anyang Cup
Posted by japanstats on 2008 September 7日 Sunday
We’re missing results from action on 5-6 Sept, but Oji Eagles have won the 2008 Anyang Cup with their win over hosts Anyang Halla earlier today.
Sharks kept things respectable in the 0-3 loss to the Cranes with former Dayton Bomber and Team Japan member Nishiwaki scoring one and assisting on another. Oji cruised their way to their victory over the hosts with a hat trick by Kei Tonosaki.

Hi. Simon
I finally got around to writing to you. We met at Sapporo during div 1 championship tourney. I am still disgusted at the refereing of the Japan- Hungary game. It was an insult to the great game of hockey.
I have been trying to get up to date results of Anyang Cup but it seems no one posts results. I am basically computer illiterate but in todays world you would think the organizers or someone would send out game results during or immediatly following the game.
Hope this gets to you. Marv.Keller Kamloops Canada

Hi Marv,
Yeah, it was nice meeting you in Sapporo, wish I could’ve stayed in the city longer, that place reminds me of Toronto.
Anyways you’ve got three straight Cranes games at Sapporo Tsukisamu Arena this upcoming long weekend if you’re interested in seeing them. Noon Sat, 3pm Sun, and 2pm Mon.
Cheers
Simon
