Hikari TV to broadcast AL games
Posted by japanstats on 2008 October 30日 Thursday
Hikari TV (a fibreoptic internet TV service) will start broadcasting AL games. As a preview of the service, they have a nice stream of the Seibu-Halla game highlights from 5 Oct 2008.
This is good news as any additional exposure is good for the fledgling league.

Hello, when you refer to Hakari TV as a fibreoptic internet TV service does this mean that they broadcast from a URL that can be accessed on the web?
Specifically, I am hopeful that I can view games from my broadband connection in Canada?
Thanks in advance and I appreciate your efforts to promote the AL.
Cheers,
Tony

I believe the broadcasts are only available to Hikari TV subscribers, kinda like the Comcast deal in the States.
